He and his son are the only combination to have ever won a NCAA Division 1 National football Championship. The senior Crudup was an All-American High School Quarter Back in Boca Raton, Florida. He played for the legendary Barry Switzer at Oklahoma. After playing in the NFL he went back to his roots and coached in South Florida for more than twelve years. Due to his ability to evaluate talent, Derrick Crudup has become one of the countries top evaluators in High School Football. He is the CEO of CAST Sports and speaks with coaches daily from NAIA to Division 1 schools.
